GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 is specifically designed for the amplification of nucleic acids. The GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 consists of a base module and one of many interchangeable sample block modules. The 96-well GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 is designed for use with 0.2 ml reaction tubes or 96-well reaction plates for all of your routine PCR applications. The gold-plated silver blocks allow high speed 5°C⁄sec average heating⁄cooling rate of the block and provide maximum durability.

7900HT System Standard 96-Well Block Upgrade Kit
The 7900HT System Standard 96-Well Block Upgrade Kit is an optional accessory for the 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System, which is available is either a 96- or 384-well block format. The interchangeable 96- and 384-well block capability combined with the optional Automation Accessory offer unmatched flexibility. These features make the 7900HT system ideally suited to meet the high-throughput requirements of today’s drug discovery process. Key applications include gene expression quantitation and the detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) using the fluorogenic 5’ nuclease assay.
The 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System is the only real-time quantitative PCR system that combines 96- and 384-well plate compatibility and the TaqMan® Low Density Array with fully automated robotic loading-and now also offers optional Fast real-time PCR capability.
• Fast PCR option reduces run time to about 35 minutes in a standard 96-well format, or about 55 minutes in a 384-well plate.

The 7900HT System Fast 96-Well Block Upgrade Kit can be used with the 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System. The Fast block decreases thermal cycling times when compared to the standard block. Customers who have an Applied Biosystems 7900HT Sequence Detection System must order a 7900HT System Fast Service Upgrade (4351412) or 7900HT System Fast Service Upgrade with Computer (4362078).
The 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System is the only real-time quantitative PCR system that combines 96- and 384-well plate compatibility and the TaqMan® Low Density Array with fully automated robotic loading-and now also offers optional Fast real-time PCR capability.
• Fast PCR option reduces run time to about 35 minutes in a standard 96-well format, or about 55 minutes in a 384-well plate.
• Continuous wavelength detection from 500-660 nm allows the use of multiple fluorophores in a single reaction.
