StockMarks® for Dogs Genotyping Kit, canine, with protocol
The StockMarks® for Dogs Canine Genotyping Kit is part of a complete solution for animal parentage typing and genotyping employing short tandem repeats (STRs), also referred to as microsatellites. Microsatellite markers are evenly distributed across genome. They are highly polymorphic and they can be identified within DNA samples using PCR.
The StockMarks® kits employ a proprietary PCR process for amplification of the microsatellite markers using fluorescent dyelabeled primers. The StockMarks® for Cattle and StockMarks® for Horses kits amplify the microsatellite markers recommended by the International Society of Animal Genetics (ISAG), while the StockMarks® for Dogs kit amplifies the microsatellite markers recommended by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

MycoSEQ™ Mycoplasma Detection Assay
The MycoSEQ™ Mycoplasma Detection Assay, based on real-time PCR and Power SYBR® Green detection technology, is designed for the routine screening and detection of Mycoplasma and other closely related species such as Acholeplasma laidlawii and Spiroplasma citri. Through intensive bioinformatics and highly optimized multiplexed primer design, the system allows for highly sensitive, specific, and comprehensive Mycoplasma species detection. The rapid time-to-results of less than 5 hours supports in-process monitoring for the presence of Mycoplasma during cell culture manufacturing, allowing for the earliest possible detection of a contamination event, and providing protection against the spread of contamination into downstream equipment, processes, and media.
